Columbus Ave & 77th
The transformation of this UWS prewar apartment was especially unique as one of the owners grew up in the apartment and is now raising the next generation of her family in the home.
The apartment’s original layout worked well for the family with an expansive kitchen area and formal dining space. However, the kitchen cabinetry was dated and reflective of the 1980s renovation which didn’t relate to the apartment’s history.
We selected a navy accent color for the kitchen island which was inspired by the owners wedding color palette. The kitchen island is now the heart of this family home and offers a great space to make many more happy memories with family and friends.
We revamped the primary bathroom with the addition of a walk-in shower and custom vanity. The team also assisted with the design and fabrication of a home office and living room built-ins with a window seat to look out upon the Thanksgiving Day balloons.
